Hi, I\'m a double bass player from Genoa (italy), I\'ve discovered nat King Cole music, many years ago and i was hocked! I consider Mr. Cole among the greatest jazz singers-musicians, ever. In 2012 i\'ve finally found out the right partners to set up a tribute to the great Nat\'s drum-less trio. We named it \" Trio Days\" in memory to Nat and his musicians. We hope to contribute (with respect and love) to keep alive the memory of this great musician in our country.
Thanks for your Great Music Mr Cole!

Nat, the coolest ever entertainer. Most singers of his day copied or envied him his tone and style. I loved it when Torme admitted that he has based his whole career on Nat's. A superb talent and the provider of some of the best moments in black music. His stride, style and humility are overwhelming and make so likeable. I think he should have moved to the UK where we appreciated him so much more. He could have stayed in any hotel he wanted and we would have sat outside cheering him. His album with Sheering was sublime. He is the most popular and talented entertainers ever. Amazing charm, sophistication and musicality. A true master. He knew how to dress, act and present himself. His legacy and bofy of work will last forever.

If there was ever a better voice recorded I have not heard it. Mr. Cole's music is some of my favorite and always makes me remember my folks who also loved his music and installed my love for it which I will never let die. Mr. Cole may be gone but he will never be forgotten.

Fantastic singer and a wonderful role model and a genuine trailblaizer.

I have always been a great admirer of his dolcet tones. Indeed unforgettable!

I intend to do a Nat King Cole tribute night on 29th December 2012 in London England. If anyone wants the details please email me chukuma1@aol.co.uk

Does anyone know how his children are doing?

Hello:

Nat King Cole was a wonderful singer with his signature song of "Unforgattable" ie the song he's remembered by. I continue to sing "Ramblin Rose" with lyrics along with "Unforgettable" with lyrics.

It's too bad he's gone and in fact long gone. However I will confess I have anger towards him ie if I could have been around him while he was still alive I would have jumped all over him for smoking which is why he died so young and so soon. I hate tobacco. My father was a world war 2 army captain and he smoked with the result I have bronchitis from second hand smoke which no one knew about 50 years ago. I have two sisters and a brother and none of us smoke due to the life of my father smoking. Of course he's gone just like Nat King Cole but the object lesson is the same of the consequences of tobacco. I have three step children from Philippines and all three smoke and they know I hate tobacco but they continue to puff away, on their way to the cemetery like Nat King Cole.

Though Nat King Cole is long gone, his music continues on to this day.

All the best:

Hi,

I have been an avid fan of nat Cole since I was 15 yrs of age. He died the year i was born but somehow with my interest in music I came to appreciate his music and in time i learnt of his life.A superb musician , as a singer in my top 2.A gentle soul ,yes with flaws as all of us.But a rare breed in a group of the greatest entertainers of an age when talent was talent. I play all his tunes on piano, and never a day goes by when i dont hear his music.

When I fall in Love.
This is the best love song ever written. I was captured by it's beauty when I hear David Lewis, a little known singer, sing this song. However, Nat is the real master. Love IT!

Nat Cole King is my favourite singer.I consider him to be the best in the USA. Natalie Cole has been for me
the prettiest woman in the world.I listen to their songs EVERY day. Their photos are always with me. UNFORGETTABLE is one of the best songs in the world.

My name is Doug Berle and if you're thinking that I might be related to Milton Berle, you're right. I'm a nephew, the Son of my Father Jack who was Milton's Brother. The reason I mentioned the connection with Milton is that i grew up in a Show Business Environment and was from an early age expected to be in show business like my Uncle. My parents bought an upright piano for me and I started taking lessons at about 6 or 7 years old. My Parents always "Showed my Piano Talents off" by encouraging me to play for Friends and Relatives. No I didn't have any particular talent but they thought I did! I remember that one night, my parents and I made a trip down Beverly Blvd near Western or Vermont Avenue in L.A and took me to a night club to hear what a great Pianist sounded like. Of course it was none other than Nat King Cole and his Trio. He wasn't singing back in those days but he sure had an incredible talent my folks wanted me to hear. Now at the ripe old age of 76 years old...it remains as one of my greatest memories. Oh how he richly blessed us with his talent. Doug Berle
